He now has lost 70 pounds over the past year. At 6’1” tall, he has gone from 225 to 155 pounds, spends 75% of his day in bed, and can no longer take food or fluids by mouth and receives all of his medications and nutrients via PEG tube. He requires a caregiver to shower and dress him and is wheelchair-bound.
He has no allergies, and is taking albuterol MDI, lisinopril and Ambien®. He has oxycodone for pain, but does not take this medication on a regular basis.
